Shipping and Delivery Policy
Operational rules for dispatch, documentation, handoff, delivery windows, and receipt of chemical orders
Last Updated: May 27, 2026
Quick Navigation
Chemical shipments require more documentation, handling discipline, and site readiness than general parcel ecommerce. This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains the allocation of responsibilities across sellers, buyers, warehouses, carriers, and ChemBizzSolution-supported workflow tools.
1Scope of the Shipping Workflow
Shipping support may include order planning, documentation exchange, tracking visibility, carrier coordination, warehouse movement, and proof-of-delivery capture. The exact service scope depends on the product, transport mode, location, and the commercial arrangement in place.
ChemBizzSolution may provide workflow visibility or coordination tools even where the physical shipment is handled by third-party carriers, seller fleets, or external logistics partners.
2Seller Dispatch Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for dispatch readiness, including correct product identification, quantity, packaging, labeling, and availability of supporting documents required for shipment and receipt.
Where applicable, sellers should provide documents such as invoice, e-way bill, transport instructions, SDS or MSDS, COA, batch details, and any other regulatory or customer-required paperwork.
3Buyer Site Responsibilities
Buyers must ensure the receiving site is prepared to accept the shipment, including access availability, unloading capability, storage readiness, and any permits, tank compatibility checks, or safety arrangements required for the material.
Delivery failure caused by buyer-side inaccessibility, delay, refusal without valid cause, or inability to safely receive the product may result in additional charges or claim limitations.
4Hazmat and Special Handling
Hazardous, temperature-sensitive, reactive, or high-value materials may require approved packaging, route controls, trained handlers, special vehicle requirements, or restricted timing windows.
ChemBizzSolution, the seller, and logistics partners may pause, reschedule, or refuse dispatch if a shipment appears unsafe, incompletely documented, or non-compliant with applicable transport rules.
5Delivery Windows and Tracking
Estimated dispatch dates and delivery timelines are operational targets, not absolute guarantees, unless a specific service level is stated in writing. Delays may arise from permit checks, weather, inspections, carrier constraints, safety escalations, holidays, or force majeure events.
Where tracking is available, platform status updates should be treated as operational guidance and not as a substitute for site-level receiving controls.
6Inspection at Delivery
At receipt, buyers should inspect the shipment for visible damage, leakage, seal issues, quantity mismatch, or document discrepancies. Any visible exceptions should be recorded immediately on the delivery paperwork or in the platform workflow where provided.
Proof of delivery confirms handoff and does not waive rights for hidden defects that are reported within the applicable review window, but delayed reporting may reduce the ability to investigate responsibly.
7Failed Delivery, Reattempts, and Returns
If delivery cannot be completed due to buyer-side constraints, unsafe conditions, missing permissions, or refusal without documented cause, reattempts, storage, demurrage, or return freight charges may apply.
Returned chemical shipments are subject to seller approval, safety review, packaging condition, and regulatory feasibility.
